I'm Samarth Awasthi. I studied civil engineering, not education — but somewhere in the middle of that degree, I got interested in a different problem: why smart, hardworking students still struggle with things that have nothing to do with how much they know.
I run every session myself. There's no separate team of trainers — whichever batch a student is in, they're learning directly from me, every time.
Here's what I've seen, and why it happens: schools are built to cover a syllabus and get students through their exams. They're not built to teach a student how to speak with confidence, manage their own time, or work through a problem they haven't seen before — and with thirty-plus students in a classroom, no teacher has the room to work on that with any one child.
So these gaps don't get addressed. They sit there, and the student is expected to have figured them out on their own by the time it matters.
Here's exactly where things stand. The programme has run two batches so far. The first started in June 2025 and ran for about four months. The second ran from December 2025 to May 2026.
Together, eleven students have been through it, and there's no batch running right now — I'm between the second one ending and the next one starting.
This isn't a large, established programme yet, and I'd rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise. What I'm building toward is a programme that runs continuously, with more students getting the same live, high-frequency coaching those first eleven got. Right now, that means every family that joins works directly with me — there's no one else running the sessions.
This is The Catalyst — Samagra Vikas' programme for closing that gap. It builds five capabilities through live coaching: Communication Mastery, Smart Learning, Time Management, AI Literacy, and Clear Thinking. Every student also gets a free two-week bonus module in Career Readiness.
These five aren't taught as separate subjects. They're built as one connected system, where progress in one area reinforces the others.
What this isn't.
This isn't tuition, and it isn't exam coaching. We don't teach Class 8 Science or help finish Math homework — school already does that. The Catalyst works on the capabilities school doesn't: how a student communicates, learns, manages their time, thinks, and uses AI.
Who this isn't for.
The Catalyst isn't the right fit for a student who mainly needs help catching up on schoolwork rather than building new capabilities, or who isn't willing to put in the practice a session asks for in between classes.
How a session works.
Before each session, the student works through most of the topic at home, using a handout — not a textbook. In the live session, Samarth explains the part that actually needs explaining. The rest of the time is spent doing: activities, scenario-based challenges, and impromptu tasks that put the material to use immediately, with a little new content introduced along the way. After the session, there's a specific practice task to carry into daily life — at home or at school — so the skill gets used outside the session too, not just discussed inside it.
Feedback.
Feedback isn't saved for the end of a module. It happens throughout — in the session itself, and on the practice tasks in between.
What “learning” means here.
The test for every session isn't whether the student understood the idea. It's whether they do something differently afterward. A student who understood a session but changed nothing about how they act hasn't finished the job — which is why sessions are built around live coaching and practical application, not lectures.

Clear Thinking — Three months spent learning to think through a problem methodically — breaking it down to first principles, building a structured argument, and reasoning through situations that don't have an obvious answer. Sessions are built around practising this on real problems, not memorising theory.
AI Literacy — Three months building a functional understanding of how AI tools actually work, how to use them effectively, and how to think clearly in a world shaped by them. Sessions focus on hands-on practice with these tools, not abstract theory about them.

Format.
Sessions run live online on Google Meet, one hour each, four times a week. Batches are capped at five students. Sessions are available in multiple time slots — weekend, weekday, and mixed options — so students pick the one that suits them. In between sessions, materials and updates are shared over WhatsApp.
Duration.
The full programme runs about eleven months, covering all five capabilities: Communication Mastery (3 months), Smart Learning (1 month), Time Management (1 month), AI Literacy (3 months), and Clear Thinking (3 months). Every student also gets the two-week Career Readiness bonus module at no extra cost. A student can also join for just one module.
Pricing.
₹1,499 per month for group sessions — the same price whether a student joins the full programme or just one module. One-on-one sessions are ₹2,999 per month.
Payment terms.
Payment is collected at the end of each month, after that month's sessions have already been delivered — not upfront. There's no lock-in: a student can stop at any time, for any reason, with no notice period required. Because payment happens after the sessions, not before, stopping doesn't cost anything extra.

Is this worth the cost?
You don't have to decide that before seeing a session — payment only happens after each month's sessions are delivered, not before. The free workshop is there so you and your child can judge that for yourselves first.
How much time will my child need to commit?
Sessions are live, one hour each, four times a week, for about eleven months if a student does the full programme — less for a single module. That's the actual time commitment; we're not rounding it down.
Will this work for my child specifically?
If your child mainly needs help catching up on schoolwork, or isn't willing to put in effort outside the session, this isn't the right fit — that's already stated plainly earlier on this page. Otherwise, the free workshop is the way to find out, not a sales call.
What if we want to stop?
Stop at any time, for any reason. Payment is monthly, there's no lock-in and no notice period, and because payment happens after sessions are delivered, there's no advance payment sitting at risk.
Is Samarth qualified to teach this?
The fairest way to judge that is from what's already on this page — the reasoning above for why these gaps exist, and the results from the students who've been through the programme. Not from a list of degrees.
